Named after our founder's girlfriend, who was American. Packed with pepperoni. Sensational.
Serves 2
400g PizzaExpress Pizza Dough
400g PizzaExpress Pizza Sauce
120g mozzarella
40g pepperoni
Sprinkle of oregano
A drizzle of olive oil
OPTIONAL: 20g Hot green peppers, or Jalapeño
Preheat your oven (220 C/fan 200 C/Gas 7) or Ninja Oven (370 C) and dust your worktop with flour.
Slice your dough in half and shape into two equal balls, rest for 15 minutes.
Flatten your dough balls until they’ve doubled in width, flip and repeat until each one is 24cm in diameter leaving 1.5cm for the crust.
Place each base onto a baking tray. Spread the passata evenly over each base.
Evenly place the pepperoni slices across both bases, and top with mozzarella. Season with oregano, black pepper and a drizzle of oil. HINT (If you like things spicy, add hot green peppers such as Jalapeños to turn it into an American Hot!).
Cook for 9-19 minutes in conventional ovens, or 2 minutes in your Ninja Pizza Ovens making sure the base is crisp.
Remove from the oven and dig in!
